downtown

Downtown Colorado Springs is the center of art, culture and history for the Pikes Peak Region. Shopping, dining, and business as well as educational, sports and leisure activities all happen at the same time and create a fun, creative environment everyday.

The architectural styles of the original stone buildings reflect the culture of the late 1800's - early 19th century and blend well with the additions of many more modern structures throughout recent years. A friendly atmosphere and mostly clear weather add to the pleasant filming opportunities that await you.

Permits are required if automobile traffic or pedestrian walkways are blocked or impeded in any way. Please contact the Film Commission office for more information if you have questions on whether permits will be required for your project.
